shrimp & lobster tacos

i was CRAVING the shrimp & lobster tacos from gordon beirsch.  they are probably the best restaurant tacos i've ever had.  but you know me... why pay for something i can make myself?!  yo... these bitches bang!  Gordon ain't got nothing on the kid.  my favorite part is that they're SO easy & fast!

  1. preheat oven to 300 degrees

  2. chop lobster & shrimp into to small chunks

  3. toss with taco seasoning & garlic spread, set aside

  4. top flour tortillas with cheese

  5. lay corn tortilla flat on half of flour tortilla

  6. place in oven until cheese is just melted (watch carefully so cheese doesn't burn)

  7. sautee shrimp & lobster on medium high heat for 7 minutes, stirring occasionally

  8. fold flour tortilla over the exposed half of the corn tortilla

  9. fill double shell with lobster & shrimp, squeeze lime juice over meat, top with some cilantro avocado dressing, and pico de gallo

  10. ENJOY!


  • whole lobster tail

  • 6 large raw shrimp

  • 4 corn tortillas

  • 4 flour tortillas

  • 1/2 cup mild cheddar

  • 1/3 cup pico de gallo

  • 1/2 tablespoon taco seasoning

  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic spread

  • 1/2 lime (quartered)

  • 2.5 tablespoons cilantro avocado dressing
