dear white people

it's not often that a movie turned tv show grabs my attention, but netflix's dear white people is phenomenal.  though there are pieces i'd love to edit, the over all concept, script, plot, and cinematography is stellar.

they have done a great job with making plain the social stresses of being black in america.  even on the collegiate level.  often, i think that people truly believe that the election of our first black president was the example of the lack of racism in our country.  so few understand that it was in spite of racism, not due to the void of it.

if you find yourself looking for a netflix show to binge watch, check this one out.  you won't be disappointed.
